前陣子YT演算法推薦這首老歌給我

大概是我常聽的Elton John曾經與Billy Joel同台過

算是我孤陋寡聞，還有很多經典老歌還沒有品嚐到

〈We didn't start the fire〉

這首也是Billy Joel 的經典老歌，收錄在1989年《Storm Front》專輯的第2首

屬於快節奏歌曲

另外也有發行單曲、MTV

Billy Joel在1989年創作這首，當時國內各種社會議題、世界局勢動盪不安

（但三十年後的現在回頭看，那其實是美好的1980/90年代呢！）

他以出生年1949起，將這四十年的報紙頭條擷取標題，當作歌詞

所以歌詞包含大量的事件名詞

如果不知道Billy Joel當初的創作背景

只直接聽、看歌詞，似乎不見得能知其所以然🤔

試圖表達局勢或戰火動盪，並不是誰刻意引起的

人們從未刻意引起戰火

並不是1980年代末期才動盪，過去的幾十年已經如此

打從世界開始轉動，這些就已經存在，並不斷發生

不過，既然是音樂，輕鬆聽就好

只是某天與友人聊天靈光乍現，決定構思這首歌拿來這些新聞標題當創作素材

他自己也以音樂的角度批判自己寫的歌，覺得沒有旋律、稱不上一首歌，就像是牙鑽一樣

算是滿有趣的歌，MV也很有趣，用一個家庭的的成長到死亡、以及廚房的演變等等

象徵時間不斷的在流逝

這首歌當年末美國告示牌排行榜第一名，迄今還是白金級認證

直到現在還是有很高的評價，不少影劇廣告都曾引用過類似手法

（辛普森家庭也有😂）

Daryl Hall & John Oates - You Make My Dreams

電影《飛躍奇蹟》(Eddie the Eagle)劇情中，Eddie當時為了取得奧運出賽資格打算參加歐洲巡迴賽，並且找Peary；Peary其實早在Eddie於德國Garmisch跳得滿身傷時，就已經逐漸被Eddie的傻勁與毅力感動到，決定當起Eddie的教練

兩人出發前一晚在酒吧談心，Eddie說到他過往身邊所有的人都認為他不適合當運動員，但他也需要自己的榮耀時刻、證明這些人是錯的

而Peary則對Eddie提到他相當能瞭解Eddie被很多人拋棄的感受、並且說可以實現Eddie的夢想。當Peary說出這番話，其實已經也是想藉由Eddie實現夢想時，他也能實現當初未能達到的(身為運動員不放棄的精神、對運動的尊重)

對兩位主配角而言，彼此都是互相需要的，都需要靠對方實現自己的夢想。

於是兩個人開始克難的開著廂型車，一路訓練、一路參與歐洲巡迴賽。

配上〈You Make My Dreams〉相當貼切，劇情用輕快愉悅的音樂、搭上有趣的訓練/比賽畫面，取代了應該是很辛苦的過程。兩人不斷朝著夢想前進......

這首歌於1980年發行，迄今仍是相當著名的80年代經典流行樂，不只是飛躍奇蹟，也有不少電影和廣告等使用這首當作配樂。

Deacon Blue - Real Gone Kid

這是電影《飛躍奇蹟》(Eddie the Eagle)電影配樂的其中一首，也是1980年代末期相當著名的流行音樂，即使已經20多年了，這首歌還是相當好聽，稱為經典流行歌一點也不為過。

電影《飛躍奇蹟》(Eddie the Eagle)劇情中，Eddie當時為了取得奧運出賽資格，打算參加歐洲巡迴賽，並且駕著家裡的廂型車出發去找Peary拜師。畫面帶到沿途經過相當優美且白淨的山景、雪景，這段劇情配上〈Real Gone Kid〉這首歌，大概也是描述Eddie還相當純真的心境吧!

心得 - 電影《飛躍奇蹟》(Eddie the Eagle)

雖然《飛躍奇蹟》(Eddie the Eagle，中國譯：飛鷹艾迪)是2016上半年的電影了，但是在前陣子在電影台才知道有這一部(汗顏)、且頗受好評 (IMDb評價7.4顆星)，前幾天在重播時終於認真看完了，趁著心裡頭還有一些心得的時候記錄下來，也許哪天再回頭看自己的心得時，還能喚起心中的感動

這部片最吸引我的地方 -- 配樂

雖然是2016年上映的電影，但這部片的配樂運用1980年代左右相當盛行的電子樂器、金屬樂器，再搭上節奏鮮明、輕快的配樂時，曲風也顯得彷彿是1980年代流行音樂的風格，對於劇情背景年代相當貼切。

最讓我感動且印象深刻的配樂，則是劇情接近尾聲、卻也是最高潮之處，艾迪(Eddie)與派瑞(Bronson Peary)出場要挑戰90公尺，以及從90公尺跳台滑下時，此時畫面是艾迪與艾迪家人、眾人的吶喊，一直到平安落地後兩人相擁的喜悅。

這一整段的配樂彷彿帶出艾迪壓抑已久情緒與壓力，也帶出我心中的感動。在飛躍、吶喊的這一刻釋放出來，即使是屢戰屢敗，卻仍屢敗屢戰，不用在乎旁人的訕笑，然後向自己證明可以再超越自己。但彷彿也向世人證明自己的努力、與拚勁，其態度與行為豈是旁觀者眼中的兒戲。

平安落地後，配樂緊接著是耳熟能詳、1980年代著名的流行歌〈Jump〉(David Lee Roth / Eddie Van Halen, 1984)，就電影本身劇情背景、配樂、以及歌曲本身的意義而言，都是相互呼應、且正面的

整部片的配樂除了運用相當多電子/金屬樂器元素，另一個讓我印象深刻的是，劇中許多帶有歌詞的配樂，好幾首是1980~90年代的經典流行歌曲，除了〈Jump〉，還有：

• Thin Lizzy- Cowboy Song (1976)
• Daryl Hall / John Oates - You Make My Dreams (1980)
• Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Two Tribes (1984)
• Deacon Blue - Real Gone Kid (1988)

片尾曲三首歌也相當好聽 (一度以為也是80年代的流行音樂，但皆為2016)，彷彿故事沒有結束，扣人心弦、意猶未盡

劇情 -- 看似陳腔濫調的勵志故事，卻逗趣、感人又激勵人心

如果沒看過電影，只聽劇情描述，想必這一定就是標準的勵志故事或是某個課本內容：

「艾迪從小就立志當個奧運選手，但資質不好，並不是天生當運動員的料，父親總勸艾迪認清本分好好工作，但母親總支持他朝向自己的目標邁進：艾迪從不氣餒，最終站上奧運的舞台，......」

如果電影只有這樣演，我從電影台看到應該就直接轉台了吧!

我個人覺得，這部看似陳腔濫調的劇情，缺少了好萊塢劇情中很邪惡的敵人或反派、也沒有跟主角有關的恩怨情仇

但是整部片將這幾個元素組合起來之後，劇情變得的很棒，扣人心弦：

• 沒有邪惡的反派，因為整部片除了艾迪的母親、酒吧老闆娘、派瑞之外，幾乎所有的角色都是反對/阻撓他、嘲笑他並冷眼旁觀的，這反而凸顯了艾迪的傻勁，也顯得艾迪每次的挫折都讓身為觀眾的我揪心。
• 劇中不刻意描述艾迪的不屈不撓、越挫越勇的精神，而是將天真想法、有勇無謀與一股傻勁，表現出很逗趣的行為，使劇情反而不枯燥。(其實我是一邊看一邊笑，最後才覺得很感動)
• 艾迪的角色以個性來說，就是樂觀、正向，但情緒很壓抑，因為從頭到尾就是一路被開嘲諷，卻沒有明顯的低潮或憤怒，直到最後90米滑跳時的吶喊，帶出反差；加上畫面有帶到其他人物一起為他吶喊，他的態度與行為彷彿也贏得大家的尊敬，有一吐悶氣的感覺
• 艾迪與派瑞是兩個完全不同類型的人物，卻互補，整部片也藉由派瑞襯托出艾迪的堅毅，但主配角還是很清楚 -- 派瑞還是很重要、卻不會搶走主角艾迪的戲份
• 主角艾迪雖然沒跟誰有什麼恩怨情仇，但是華倫‧夏普(Warren Sharp)與派瑞師徒間的心結，卻是間接透過艾迪的表現來和解。華倫先前評價派瑞缺乏身為運動員該有的要素，劇末在運動休息室華倫卻對派瑞說道「I was wrong...about you.」，也表示華倫看到了派瑞對艾迪執教的原因 -- 派瑞從艾迪身上看到運動員的精神、並從而自省與改變

雖然看完後，就是滿滿的感動啊!!!
但後來想想覺得劇情中有幾處，也是相當有意思的，會想著拿來對照現實或周遭環境：

• 艾迪有個相當疼愛他的父母，尤其是母親，其實還滿溺愛他的；父親雖然一天到晚勸他面對現實，但其實還是相當的包容他的(才能讓他一路追夢到23歲)
• 艾迪的父親不斷勸他面對現實、不斷澆熄登上奧運殿堂的夢想，希望小孩夢想歸夢想、還是要顧生活，想想這樣的父母其實全世界都有，只是程度上的差別吧!
• 雖然劇情中家人與練習場/賽場上或是奧會、代表隊的隊友們開盡各種嘲諷，但艾迪能一直堅持這個夢想/目標，真的是過於常人的堅毅(無論是電影劇情、或真實的艾迪)。換作是我可能早在老爸勸阻、自己一直出醜時就玻璃心碎滿地了，自己小時候總懷有各種夢想，但在成長與社會化的過程中不斷被澆熄，所以終究是夢想
• 如果我身邊有像艾迪這樣的朋友，我會支持他嗎? 說真的，也許我也跟一般人一樣，勸他早日面對現實，不要「眾人皆醒我獨醉」了
• 如果有這樣的追夢人出現在街坊、新聞中，我會怎麼想? 也許、很大的可能，我會覺得「他有病」吧? 就像是唐吉軻德一般
• 如果跟我相同環境中，有位像艾迪一樣的「競爭者」，我也許會像其他代表隊一樣產生嫌惡的感覺吧? 「OMG! 一個不入流的丑角竟然可以來參加，媒體和觀眾竟然還很愛?!」
• 英國奧會百般阻止他，一開始基於安全的理由、後來直白的說沒有專業水平是會降低贊助商的贊助意願，無論是當時還在現在，都還滿合理的(如果有公關單位發掘到那又另當別論了)
• 無論是劇情或是真實的艾迪，都是佔盡天時地利人和，才能讓世人看到這麼激勵人心卻又如此滑稽的人物了。以現在的時空環境，在能奧運場上看到像是艾迪這麼極端又罕見的例子應該幾乎不可能了

雖然後來查過資料發現，原來真實故事與電影改編劇情其實有很大的不同，電影劇情當然是加油添醋不少。但電影本身的劇情鋪陳和配樂已經深深烙印在我心中了! 是一部值得欣賞的電影!
